Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Param Tuition Bureau's services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope of Services
Param Tuition Bureau ("PTB", "we", "us") provides a home tuition referral service connecting parents and students with verified home tutors. PTB acts solely as an intermediary and is not the direct employer, educational institution, or service provider for tuition sessions.
Our services include tutor–student matching, tutor verification, demo class coordination, placement assistance, and ongoing support throughout the tuition engagement.
2. Demo Class Policy
•Every new tuition engagement begins with one free demo class.
•The demo class is completely free for the parent/student.
•After the demo class, the parent/student may confirm the tutor or request an alternate tutor.
•A maximum of two free demo classes are provided for each tuition requirement. Additional demo classes may attract a nominal fee.
•Parents are requested to evaluate the tutor fairly based on teaching ability, communication, and subject knowledge before making a final decision.
3. Fee & Payment Policy
•Tuition fees are mutually agreed upon between the parent and Param Tuition Bureau before the tuition begins.
•The entire first month's tuition fee must be paid only to Param Tuition Bureau.
•Parents are strictly prohibited from paying the first month's tuition fee directly to the tutor.
•Param Tuition Bureau charges the tutor a one-time consultancy fee equivalent to 50% of the first month's tuition fee.
•After receiving the first month's tuition fee from the parent, PTB deducts its 50% consultancy fee and transfers the remaining 50% to the tutor.
•PTB's consultancy fee is non-refundable once the tutor has successfully commenced regular tuition after acceptance.
•From the second month onwards, monthly tuition fees shall be paid directly by the parent to the tutor unless otherwise instructed by PTB.
•Any revision in tuition fees must be mutually agreed upon by the parent and tutor with at least 15 days' prior notice.
4. Attendance & Classes
•The tutor is expected to conduct all agreed classes punctually and consistently.
•If a tutor misses a scheduled class, an equivalent make-up class must be provided.
•If a student misses a scheduled class, the tutor is not obligated to provide a free make-up class but may do so at their discretion.
•Planned absences due to holidays, examinations, or emergencies should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
5. Prohibited Direct Dealing
•Parents/students shall not share PTB-referred tutor details with others or refer the tutor to another family without prior approval from PTB.
•Tutors referred through PTB shall not accept additional tuition assignments from the same family or from any referral received through that family without informing PTB.
•Any attempt by either party to bypass PTB or avoid consultancy charges shall be treated as a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
•PTB reserves the right to recover applicable consultancy charges or referral fees in case of undisclosed direct dealings.
6. Communication Standards
•All disputes, complaints, or concerns regarding a tutor must first be reported to PTB.
•PTB will make reasonable efforts to resolve reported issues within 48 working hours.
•Parents are encouraged to provide regular feedback regarding tutor performance to help maintain service quality.
•Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour towards tutors or PTB staff may result in immediate termination of PTB services.
7. Payment Schedule
•The first month's tuition fee must be paid to PTB within 3 working days after acceptance of the demo class.
•From the second month onwards, tuition fees are payable directly to the tutor on the agreed payment date.
•Late payment may result in temporary suspension of PTB support services.
•Any outstanding amount payable to PTB must be cleared before a new tutor referral is provided.
8. Tutor Registration
•Tutors must provide accurate information regarding their qualifications, experience, preferred subjects, and valid identity proof.
•False or misleading information may result in immediate removal from the PTB tutor network.
•PTB reserves the right to verify submitted documents and conduct a telephonic or personal interview before onboarding.
•Tutors are required to pay a registration fee before attending a demo class. The registration fee varies depending on the city and will be communicated by PTB before registration.
•The registration fee is non-refundable, irrespective of whether the tutor is selected for a tuition assignment.
9. Tutor Conduct
•Tutors must maintain professional behaviour with students, parents, and PTB staff at all times.
•Tutors must attend demo classes and regular tuition sessions punctually or provide prior notice in case of unavoidable absence.
•Tutors must not solicit or accept additional students from PTB-referred families without prior approval from PTB.
•Any verified misconduct, negligence, or violation of PTB policies may result in suspension or permanent removal from the PTB tutor network.
10. Placement & Consultancy Fee
•Upon successful placement (demo class accepted and tuition commenced), the parent shall pay the entire first month's tuition fee to Param Tuition Bureau.
•PTB deducts a one-time consultancy fee equivalent to 50% of the first month's tuition fee from the tutor's earnings.
•The remaining 50% of the first month's tuition fee is transferred to the tutor according to PTB's payment policy.
•Tutors must pay the applicable city-wise registration fee before attending any demo class.
•Tutors shall not collect the first month's tuition fee directly from the parent unless specifically authorised in writing by PTB.
•Any attempt to collect the first month's tuition fee directly from the parent or bypass PTB may result in cancellation of the assignment and permanent removal from the PTB network.
11. Termination of Engagement
•Either the tutor or the parent/student may terminate the tuition engagement by giving at least 7 days' written notice.
•Abrupt termination without a valid reason may affect future priority for tutor allocation or referrals.
•PTB reserves the right to remove any tutor from its network or discontinue services to any parent if these Terms & Conditions are violated or if repeated verified complaints are received.
•PTB reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest published version on PTB's official platforms shall prevail.
