Coco and the Missing Colours
Coco the Rainbow Bunny woke up one morning and rubbed her eyes. Something was wrong. The sky was grey. The grass was grey. Even her favourite carrot was grey!
"Where have all the colours gone?" Coco cried. She hopped outside to find them.
By the pond she found a little drop of blue hiding under a lily pad. "I was scared of the thunder," it whispered. Coco gave it a gentle hug, and the whole sky turned blue again.
In the garden, a shy speck of red was hiding inside a rose. "Nobody noticed me," it said. "I notice you," smiled Coco, "you make the roses beautiful." And all the roses glowed red.
One by one, Coco found yellow in the sunflowers, green in the leaves and orange in a basket of fruit. Each colour felt brave again because someone was kind to it.
That evening a rainbow stretched across the sky. Coco curled up in her bed, happy and sleepy. "Goodnight, colours," she yawned. "Goodnight, Coco," the rainbow whispered back.
Moral of the story
A little kindness can bring colour back into someone's day.
कोको और खोए हुए रंग
एक सुबह इंद्रधनुषी खरगोश कोको उठी और आँखें मलीं। कुछ गड़बड़ थी। आसमान धूसर था। घास धूसर थी। उसकी प्यारी गाजर भी धूसर थी!
"सारे रंग कहाँ चले गए?" कोको चिल्लाई और उन्हें ढूँढने बाहर फुदक गई।
तालाब के पास कमल के पत्ते के नीचे नीले रंग की एक छोटी बूँद छिपी थी। "मुझे बादलों की गड़गड़ाहट से डर लगा," उसने धीरे से कहा। कोको ने उसे प्यार से गले लगाया और पूरा आसमान फिर से नीला हो गया।
बगीचे में एक शर्मीला लाल रंग गुलाब के अंदर छिपा था। "कोई मुझ पर ध्यान ही नहीं देता," वह बोला। "मैं देती हूँ," कोको मुस्कुराई, "तुम्हीं से तो गुलाब सुंदर लगते हैं।" और सारे गुलाब लाल चमक उठे।
एक-एक करके कोको ने सूरजमुखी में पीला, पत्तों में हरा और फलों की टोकरी में नारंगी रंग ढूँढ लिया। किसी ने प्यार दिखाया, तो हर रंग फिर से बहादुर बन गया।
शाम को आसमान में इंद्रधनुष फैल गया। कोको खुश और उनींदी होकर अपने बिस्तर में सिमट गई। "शुभ रात्रि, रंगों," उसने जम्हाई ली। "शुभ रात्रि, कोको," इंद्रधनुष ने धीरे से जवाब दिया।
कहानी की सीख
थोड़ी-सी दया किसी के दिन में फिर से रंग भर सकती है।
